The Short Version
Part One

Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect what we need to review your deck and get it in front of the right investors. Nothing more.

  • Your pitch deck and any supporting files you upload
  • Contact info: your name, email address, and company name
  • Company details: stage, industry, and fundraising target
  • Usage data: basic analytics like page views and session info, so we can improve the product

2. How We Use It

Every piece of data we collect has a job:

  • Deck review: We assess your deck for investor readiness so we can give you a straight answer.
  • Investor distribution: If your deck is ready, we share it with vetted investor partners on your behalf.
  • Communication: We email you about your submission, readiness results, and next steps.
  • Service improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us build a better product.

We don't use your data for anything else. No profiling, no behavioral advertising, no selling to data brokers.

3. Who We Share It With

Vetted investor partners. If your deck passes our readiness review, we share it with investors who match your stage, industry, and geography. We don't spray your deck everywhere. Distribution is targeted and intentional.

Service providers. We use trusted third parties for hosting, email delivery, and analytics. They're bound by strict data processing agreements and only access data to provide their services.

Nobody else. We don't sell your personal data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't hand it to anyone who shouldn't have it.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your submission data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you haven't used SendMyDeck in 12 months, we'll reach out before retaining your data further.

Want your data deleted? Email [email protected] and we'll remove your personal data and submitted materials within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may remain for analytics purposes.

5. Your Rights

Wherever you're based, you have rights over your data. Here's what you can do:

1 Access your personal data and get a copy
2 Correct inaccurate information
3 Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
4 Export your data in a portable format
5 Withdraw consent at any time
6 Object to how we process your data
7 Restrict processing in certain situations
8 Challenge automated decisions about you

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We keep it minimal:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the site to function. Things like keeping you logged in.
  • Analytics: Basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how people use SendMyDeck. No individual tracking.

We don't use third-party ad trackers, retargeting pixels, or any of that surveillance stuff. Your browsing is your business.

7. International Data Transfers

SendMyDeck operates globally, and your data may be processed in different jurisdictions. When we transfer data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards including contractual protections and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.

If you're in the EU/EEA, UK, or UAE, your data is protected to the standards required by GDPR, UK GDPR, and the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL), respectively.

8. Security

We take the security of your pitch deck seriously. We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will notify you promptly if a breach affects your information.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the effective date at the top and notify you by email. We won't quietly change the rules on you.

Part Two

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using SendMyDeck, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Simple as that.

2. What SendMyDeck Does

SendMyDeck reviews your pitch deck for investor readiness and, if it qualifies, distributes it to vetted investor partners on your behalf.

We are not a broker, investment advisor, or guarantor of funding. We connect founders with investors. What happens after that introduction is between you and the investor.

3. Your Obligations

When you use SendMyDeck, you agree to:

  • Be truthful. The information in your deck and submission must be accurate and not misleading.
  • Own your stuff. You must have the rights to everything you submit. Don't upload someone else's deck.
  • Keep it legal. No fraudulent, defamatory, or illegal content.
  • Be a real person. Automated submissions, bots, and scrapers are not allowed.

4. Intellectual Property

Your deck is yours. Period. We never claim ownership of anything you submit.

By submitting your deck, you grant SendMyDeck a limited, non-exclusive license to:

  • Review and assess your materials for investor readiness
  • Generate supporting materials (like summaries) based on your submission
  • Share your deck and materials with vetted investor partners on your behalf

This license is revocable. Want us to stop? Email [email protected] and we will.

5. Fees

Submitting your deck and getting a readiness assessment is free. If we successfully connect you with an investor who funds your company, a success fee may apply. The specifics are always covered in a separate service agreement before any fees kick in.

No hidden fees. No surprise charges. If money's involved, you'll know about it upfront.

6. Limitation of Liability

We work hard to provide a great service, but we can't guarantee outcomes. Specifically:

  • We don't guarantee you'll receive funding.
  • We don't guarantee any specific investor will review your deck.
  • We're not liable for decisions investors make (or don't make) based on your materials.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SendMyDeck's total liability to you for any claims arising from the service is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

7. Termination

You can stop using SendMyDeck at any time. Just email us and we'll wrap things up.

We can also terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. If we do, we'll tell you why.

What happens to your data? On termination, you can request deletion of all your materials. We'll process it within 30 days.

8. Disclaimers

SendMyDeck is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't make warranties about uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do our best, but sometimes things break.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be resolved through the courts of the UAE, unless we both agree to alternative dispute resolution.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date and notify you by email. Continued use of SendMyDeck after changes means you accept the updated terms.
